My name comes from a Scottish band I loved since my school days - Idlewild. I've used this name on many platforms over the years and still use it as part of my main email address, as it's easy to remember! I also use 'woombler' sometimes (it's currently my IG tag), which is still linked to Idlewild - the lead singer's name is Roddy Woomble :)

Oh, and my avatar is a pic of me loading a 50kg atlas stone during my first go at the Ardblair Stones at Aboyne last summer :)

There is an Idle Wild on fetch also but not heard from him in years. Briefly said hello about mile 23 at London one years as he passed me and I saw the name on his shirt. Have a feeling I may have seen him at the end as well.

I miss them Gooner - dread to think what state my arms are going to be in when I get my hands on them again!

It was always my chest that took the brunt of the grazing/hair pulling. I do miss them too though, hard to replicate.

kwala
Way, way back in the days when I was sociable, whenever I met Fetchies for the first time they would always expect me to be Australian - I'm not! kwala was a school nickname, something to do with those furry animal pencil huggers you used to get way back when. I had, let's just say more than 1. Avatar is a selfie

“You call the guy Snot?”
“Snot Boogie. Yeah.”
“Snot Boogie. He like the name?”
“What?”
“Snot Boogie.”
