Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Ho hum. I'm used to using the log, lammo, just fancied seeing a load of oblongs in nice colours. However I now realise you also lose the details once a session is done and inputted to the plan.

I knew there was a reason it wasn't that useful for me. The main detail is mileage, the only other thing that shows is time (at a much smaller type size) and mileage is pretty unimportant to me.

Obvs is an Ace Thing for most Fetchies. Am not knocking!

Yeah, the plan and calendar view on the log are very much designed for endurance athletes and even then primarily for swim/bike/run/walk. Those of us who spend more time doing other stuff (Dance and gym in your case, indoor rowing and gym in mine) have to deal with the compromises that brings.

I'd add, though, that this is still pretty much the most versatile logging platform I've ever come across and as such I'd recommend it for anyone who does anything active and wants to keep a record.

Absolutely. Hope my otherwise approval was evident.

TBH I've been a track athlete for the past fifteen years - sprints, jumps and throws and it's not geared to that either. So I'm kind of used to it!

Yeah, I didn't think you were being down on the old place. I mean, you've been here longer than me I think and we wouldn't have stayed if it wasn't the best.

I have a feature request in for a combined or single calendar where To Do changes to Done, either by auto detection of a matching imported activity or by manual user matching.

I'll try and find request ID and you can big it up! :-) G

Just in case you don't know as well, Sharkie, the plan always shows the present week on the top line. On Mondays the whole previous week vanishes.

FEATURE 1306 Lizzle
In training plans, the ability to drag a session that is in the past into the future, or at least view what the session was supposed to be. I sometimes miss a session and then can't go back to see what I had planned.
HappyG(rrr) says: Yes, I think this is a duplicate - I requested effectively a combined calendar of Training Plan and Training Log, so you could mark planned things as done, or move a planned thing forward when missed etc. I'll try and find the FR if there is a duplicate.

FEATURE 1001 StuH
Training plan: I was following a plan when the latest batch of improvements was made, now I am. I really REALLY miss being able to see my planned sessions on my log alongside recorded sessions. Any possibility this could be re-introduced?
HappyG(rrr) says: What I had previously described was a single calendar of planned and done. Toggle for which to show. Forward and back. When session done option to link or combine it to the planned one to show done. Anyhoo. :-) G

Can't find my original requested Feature. :-) G

Yeah - I really like your single calendar, planned and done, idea, HappyG.

About This Thread

In an effort to provide a degree of accountability I thought I'd give the training plan another go. I set up two and a half weeks of effort yesterday and this morning received three notifications - for the 2 mile walk, 1 hour ballet class and 30 mins of strength work. Fine so far. I knew the 2 mile walk would be in two bits (1.6 mile and 1 mile) and I logged the ballet class once I'd done it.

What I don't get is this:
I thought my plan would automatically update and the &a...
