Been working up in Leeds and my colleague (who lives there) suggested we popped into this place furthernorth.co.uk That picture is the whole 'pub' (think there were 7 tables in total? - there is a bigger version in the city centre apparently), but served a great selection of 'unusual' beers, not one I'd ever heard of, but all went down well  liefmans frambozen on tap (http://www.hi-spirits.co.uk/cgi-bin/trolleyed_public.cgi?action=showprod_173605) was an interesting one

Two Towels.
No real on the go tonight, but will be hammering the grolsch.............Have I got away with mentioning a lager on here or not? If it helps, could be drinking Red & White wine chasers OF course! Forget could the reds just been cracked open bring it on kids! |

Waggledance, Abbotts, Adnams, AK anything starts with an A really ,many more real ale festivals are held in Ware 50% of the turn out is our running club LOL

Burns night beer festival at the pub tonight. 20 beers from Scottish micro breweries, haggis and a live band. Should be a good one!.

Sounds good Glugg - Went to a fairly uninspiring Essex pub for lunch after my marhalling duties today but cheered up when I found former CBoB Brewers Gold on offer - can't go wrong with that

Two Towels. Its the Lion at Basford. Very good night, the pub was heaving and much ale was supped. Festival started on Thursday with 15 Scottish beers. Only about 6 left tonight but still got stuck in!.
