Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Here is a proposal.......

Date.....Saturday 31st January 2009 at 3pm (lets stick with this date and see who can come?)
Cost.....£2 each for use of track

We (Cheshire Lady and I) will provide......
- Personalised running numbers
- Official timing
- Hot drinks (it is january after all)

We need a volunteer to bring the obligatory fetch cake :-)

The plan is to have more than 1 mile attempt for those that want it...with plenty time in between!!!

Location...lets have a vote. I've chosen 2 tracks that are open and available on saturday afternoons.....no booking and no hassle, just pay-as-you-go ....simple :-)

.....Macclesfield Running Track....great facility and only 20 minutes from BRTT- you may know the Macc track as the start of the Macc Half Marathon....showers included in the price and there is a pool and cafe.

....Warrington Victoria Stadium....good track and closer to M6 but not as good a facility

If we can just pick a date and location and stick to it then we could tempt a few others to join us.

Lets run :-)

I will. Of course. Although those tracks are a wee bit far :(. I will be happier driving by then, I'm sure.

I should be ok for this :-) Got to keep up my100% attendance record at "manc miles" ;-) Although given the record of these events happening I will leave as tentative in my diary at the moment ;-)

Sounds like a plan - pencil me in as a possible. Tracks a bit far away, but should stop being a scaredy cat driving wise, either that or persuade my brother to take part and he can drive "our" car. It would be nice to meet some fellow NW fetchies.

Homer, will you drive us all, then?!

No, really, I'm sure I'll manage it.
