Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice one Nick. Unfortunately, as with the whole world, the local off road RC car racing scene is shut down at the moment too. So the first rounds of club racing and practice, and the regional rounds of the season's champs are all off.

Which one is it? Overlander, Mighty Bull etc? 1/10th scale electric, not nitro? If electric, what motor and speed controller did you go for? And what controller/receiver combo? How's the build going? Do you have somewhere good to run it? Keep us posted with the build! :-) G

I'll just be playing with it in the garden until all this situation is over.

I was just thinking the other day G that circumstances would be enabling you to get a lot of home driving in, and wondering if you were building new circuits.

Then you went and got a bally j*b!

Not really got anywhere suitable to drive at home. The lawn is too bumpy. For the fast buggies you really need smooth surface. Also, though my garden is 50 or 60 m around it's still not enough for the speed of these things! :-) G

I can't believe that we've got Crafts, Gardening, Computer Games, but not model cars, trains...!

Just don't call them toys!

My particular hobby was 1/10th scale radio controlled car racing. I'm now looking to get into radio controlled planes. We have some Airfix model builders in here and Lego builders too. Any type of model vehicles really! Planes, trains, automobiles... boats, helicopters, anything! Come join in! :-) G
