Glorious weather out in West Scotland, so had a spin round some Arran tops - 20 miles and 2000m ascent, managed to squeeze in some scrambling too. Much fun, had the place pretty much to myself until I got to final top at Goatfell. Not sure how I’ll manage to do double the distance and double the ascent for Lakes Sky Ultra in 10 weeks, but that’s a problem for another day

They did the fell race but we'd already booked the Staveley trail race so did that and then joined them. Hopefully the two won't clash next year.
