Heartbreaking about the Sycamore Gap. What possesses people? I can't even begin to imagine what would motivate such a horrible, premeditated deed. I think we have a lot of angry and damaged people in the UK now and this is symptomatic of that.

Plenty of swallows in the Calder Valley while driving around today. First ones I've seen for a while. And the biggest procession of cows I've been stuck behind for ages. (Made more amusing by the idiot in the flash BMW shouting at the farmer to get them out of his way).
