It's a great descent from the col between Base Brown and Green Gable. The other two went up Bessyboot on the way back to the car in Rosthwaite but I'd had enough in the cold by then. Were you in the group we passed after we'd hit the path that heads down from Styhead? Hope you had a good day out, weather notwithstanding.

Gromit May 2021 5:23pm, 10 May 2021 1,593 posts	0 Gromit Hi jaqdaw, it’s a lovely route, slightly annoying towards the end (beginning in Sept as it’ll be anti clockwise) where they have obviously plotted simply to add distance rather than scenery etc but very well organised and good checkpoints etc. I’ll be back next May 👍
