It's a great descent from the col between Base Brown and Green Gable. The other two went up Bessyboot on the way back to the car in Rosthwaite but I'd had enough in the cold by then. Were you in the group we passed after we'd hit the path that heads down from Styhead? Hope you had a good day out, weather notwithstanding.
