I like this definition, but it rules out many! fast food. noun. 1. food, as hamburgers, pizza, or fried chicken, that is prepared in quantity by a standardized method and can be dispensed quickly at inexpensive restaurants for eating there or elsewhere.

If we are talking 'sit down and eat something quickly' then Leon, Pod, abokado, possibly? If I'm going for a coffee and a look at the paper/emails/working then Starbucks, Nero or Coffee Republic, depending on my mood.
