No - Both start & finish lines are staggered so it'll always appear to have the start nearer Silverknowes and the finish towards Cramond Point.
Course was measured using surveyors wheel twice and marked accordingly. I used my Garmin at last weeks trial event and I got 4.95km so pretty good.
Next time you're down the prom, u can look for the yellow I, II, III & IIII markers on the wall. Green spray paint was used at the start & finish line (wooden fence post)

What a great event!! We are so lucky to have this here now! Well done to everyone taking part. Nice to put faces to names finally particulary Dvorak who introduced me to everyone!! Caz i didnt meet you properly but Dvorak said you were the one in the hat!! Nice to meet you ribenaface!! Funny we didnt realise we were both fetchies while walking to km 3 and 4 !!! I can recommend marshaling - it was fun and a great team of people. I will let you know when i hear the photos are up as i know the photographer, Andrew

Yeah fetch hands sounds like a great idea!!
I still need to get a fetch top or hoodie.
I shouted ''go fetchie '' to Dvorak and probably ?? plodding on?? but didnt see any other fetch tops on the way round.
