No you don't need a new bike, you just need a bike!

We'll it looks like today won't be my first Duathlon. Family circumstances dictate that it shouldn't happen. There are other Duathlons |

I did a duathlon once. I did really well on the run, got overtaken by everyone on the bike, then overtook everyone again on the run. I laughed at myself on the bike, I was useless. I doubt I'll ever do another one, but only because I hate cycling and I've no idea what possessed me to do it in the first place.

Which are you doing Mandymoo? This was my one (& only) experience so far: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/blog-view.php?id=29850#blog287848 I have entered a second in November. I think this time I will do what others did and bring a plastic box to keep my shoes dry when they are waiting in the transition area. |

Enjoy, Mandymoo. I ought to think about a duathlon - it's the only way I'm ever going to get to race on a bike - but there are always so many events and so little time. |
