And excellent it is, especially as someone who has marvelled for years at the bizarre relationship the US has with gambling.

I just watched the Cleveland game. They did mention on the broadcast that the lines had been created for TV. I imagine it’s the same technology that put’s the first down marker line on. Al Michaels was saying how grateful he was for the markers so they must be able to see them on the monitor in the commentary booth as well.
