I like underdogs so definitely leaning towards supporting the Mavs in this series.

I'm a fan of Kawhi Leonard though, despite what he did to the Sixers last year.

*Cries* we could have won it all!

Kawhi's new signature shoe is called "four bounces" and has an animation of that game 7 shot as part of the promo. I might actually have been interested in it but that's too much of a jab.

Clippers have a whole bunch of characters - surely enough to make them appealing to a neutral...

Brett Brown sacked: espn.com

Not sure Ty Lue, who seems to be a favourite, is the right replacement. How much was down to him vs LeBron? Sixers don't have any players that can run the show like LeBron yet.

One day someone will wake up and notice that nobody is ‘Bron (as his mates call him, apparently) these days - including the man himself, who is I believe the same age as, among others, ‘old timers’ like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lewis Hamilton.

Time to move on.

Why is it time to move on when he's still amongst the best players?

The point re the Sixers is I'm sure LeBron can run an offense with little coaching input. No one in the Sixers is capable of doing that ATM so they need someone that can really coach.

Will read with a cup of tea. Must be horrible knowing that you’re one loss away from a sacking.

Okay. There's a lot of hindsight and 'if only' in there, but my take away from all this was it was an organisational failure and just sacking the manager isn't going to fix things.

Indeed.

I think some it was obvious at the time which I s why it's an organisational failure. Trading for Butler was the right move for example, but if you weren't going to keep him, especially given how influencial he was in the playoffs, then the move wasted trade assets.

Not sure how we get value for Horford (got to go) and Harris (best hope is he improves) now.
