Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[ouch Nico. I see a lot of microwave dinners in your future. What will you do about Christmas dinner?]

Mulled wine and mince pies, curtesy of the local pub after the carol concert.

It's amazing what you can knock up with a microwave, toaster, gas bbq, 2 ring camping stove and actifry. Plus OH is borrowing a table top oven from work. Christmas dinner will just require a bit more planning than usual (only the 3 of us this year).
Just in case anyone was tempted to feel sorry for me, we are going to Cornwall on Boxing Day, so Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw, Paul Ainsworth and Jamie Oliver can worry about the cooking :-)

Ham & cucumber sarne + pasta & cuppa soup.
Tonight for tea - Cornish pasty & chips or possibly take-away from the local Chinese.

Tomorrow for my birthday, might treat myself to a large pizza.
