Only you can decide Dod. You've recovered so good after the doubler but yeah TDS should be a priority. Happy to put up with you beside me on any run as long as you stop going on about your hair and make up getting messed up in the rain and stuff.

Conor ran 17 on Sunday but that was a first and a long way for him, 9 would be fine or do some steep stuff so further but with walking.

I fancy doing the West Kip, East Kip, Black hill, Scald Law Carnethy Hill and back down the Cleugh he would like that.

But I can do steep and longer any day so happy to do lower and shorter with you guys.

we are going to be knocking about for 4 days so can fit everything in.

Is that the route we did in the snow? That was a goodie. You don't need beauty tips Dod, you're naturally pretty.

Dod, I've got my boy this weekend too. We occasionally do 3 miles together on the road, canal or beach, but 9 (or 17!!) up the Pentlands would be too much. Sorry to have missed you. Typically, any other weekend of the year would have been fine. Conor's doing great, isn't he? Have fun.

Looking forward to Devil a lot now. I will be run/walking it in 10 - 11 hours (i.e. sloooowly!) but love the area, love the atmosphere, so it will be great. :-)G

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
