Hehe Sants, it was antispectic spray to keep badness out of the wound. Heh @ the marshall thinking you'd got 'proper' treatment... :-) :-)

Club runner got timed out on hill 6 last year after getting lost.

Looking good for another year, I've started really enjoying these hill runs.
I'm just trying to get through 4 races this year!!!

Oh, so you can get timed out then. Perhaps, not such a good idea to try this the next day then. Thought, I might be able to toddle round in a reasonable time. It would appear not so....

I think AM/AL means:

AL=Category A Long hill race (long and very tough)
AM=Category A Medium hill race (quite long and very tough)

But no doubt someone who knows what they are talking about will be along soon :-)

What are other folk doing about the back-up requirements?
You must have a back-up vehicle (car, 4x4 if you have one (not required though!!)...
Who fancies a fantastic day out in the beautiful North West of Scotland on the legendary West Highland Way, supporting the lovely Sophster? Team of 2 would be best: a driver/sandwich maker and a runner/Muller rice opener. Eternal gratitude, fetchie fame and gold and jewels will be yours. (*)

It's Sat 7 August. Come on Fetchland.

* I may have lied about the gold and jewels
