It goes literally almost past my house, but I think 33 miles is a touch too far for me at the moment Maybe next year.
Will be Fetchpointing with Nywanda instead I expect.

I really want to do this but it is whether I can be bothered with a 8 hour drive home after the race as Mrs J is at work the day after. When are you going up there sis?

Mmm, I have friends who live in Carnoustie so I could stay there Friday night and leave about 7 'ish Saturday morning to get up to the start.
Very tempted, liek the £10 entry fee but not sure it will compensate for the £100 it will cost me in diesel!

tis a wonderful race and cheap as chips . pity for me its the same day as the hardmoors 55 but loon was tied to the spacing of the race for the 3 week gap between sums series races . of course anyone not able to get there , the 55 from helmsley to guisborough in the north york moors is a great alternative. wish I could do both tho . :'(
