Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

221 is a big ask, even with comedy T20 boundaries. #HoHumEagles

Rather splendid day out at Edgbaston! Nice to see Cookie and Root in some form and, as long as he doesn't do the 'add 2 runs to overnight score then get out' thing, I'd fancy Cook to make a double at least.

Malan is probably NTC, but if he survives the first 10 overs, probably then gets the chance to show us his Fearless T20 Hitting (TM)

Cummins looked useful and Roach bowled a few good balls, but the Windies' attack in general was utter potato.

So far, day-night Test cricket seems little different to Test cricket.

Going again tomorrow :)

Would have been a good series to rehabilitate Hameed by the looks....

Quite tragic looking at yesterday for those of us who started following cricket in the 80s. I still think the natural order of things is that we get thrashed by the Windies, but at least get to beat Australia......

I started watching cricket in the 70s, and I still haven't got my head around WI not being the biggest draw in the sport in terms of glamour and excitement.
