Moved on a bit now - NZ are 29-5, needing 239 to win. I don't see this making it to Day 5, somehow.
Oooh, possibly 29-6 now. Reviewed, though.

Broad on the board. 5-22. And I wanted Bresnan picked ahead of him...

Should be noted that NZs top scoring batsmen in this innings had the best strike rates. Clearly they would have done better to hit out more!

Broad is infuriating. He's either rubbish or unplayable. Glad it was the latter today

Now he'll have another 12 months in the team before his next halfway OK performance.

Should England have enforced the follow-on? Should Trott/Compton have tried to go harder last night?

Follow on saga - I'd rather give Compton the opportunity for extra match batting practice before the Ashes; I'm glad England won but if they hadn't I wouldn't have been too bothered, we've got the series any which way. Agree with something that Aggers said at lunch a couple of days ago about this series being the warm up for the Ashes; 2-0 looks good in the record books but I hope that the match was what we needed looking ahead to the Aussies, that's the important one for me.
