Got to agree with "slower ball bouncer". It's a slow, half tracker, a long hop. If a batsman isn't pre-meditating, he should pick the length and smash it over cow corner for 6.
Same with "wide yorker". A yorker is a toe crushing, wicket taking delivery. A "wide yorker" is a long half volley and should be smashed to the boundary at extra cover.

How can a six be a maximum if a six off a no ball is a 7, with a free hit, which could also be hit for 6 to make 13? And if the free hit ball is also a no ball and hit for 6.........

Might be a good chance to simplify all those quirky fielding positions. I reckon there's 3 - catchers, stoppers and hiders. The hider is where you put your Tufnells - the useless bloke stationed where you hope the ball won;t go.
