thats what i thought... she said the mirena is slightly larger or something lol! oh well gues sill just have to go and see what happens! fun day out  lol

so they tried to fit the mirena and they couldnt fit it - cervix too small as not had kids yet
rather bruised from her trying! my doctor seemed pretty sure she could do it and tried a few times
back to contraceptive injection for a bit then. my main concern now its the thunder run as im due on the day before and theres no way im running even one lap if im on!! any doctors on here recommend a good pill that helps with heavy periods? the name tri-minulet has been mentioned to me.. any others? xx

I feel for you B-lass,
It took 20 mins, 2 nurses and 1 Doctor with my feet in sturrrups to fit my Mirena (son came out through sun roof) so my cervix was small and never been streahed. I was very sore and a bit grumpy afterwards. (Tummy hurt for the rest of the day!..............BUT SINCE THEN
It has been great, periods are pretty non existant!!!!
Can they not give you an anastecic (sp) and try again.
ps. Had it fitted about 8 months ago.

Ok I got myself all muddled up, I take Cilest and started back on my pill after what was my 7 day break however it wasn;t and was my 8th day, do I need extra protection for 7 days? Or am I ok?
Kicking myself for getting it all muddled up

The chances of getting preggers right after your period are very slim. But I am no Doc, so I don't know anything. How about keeping your legs crossed for at least 7 days
