Any thoughts on how to get to the start? I don't fancy an early morning wake up to get a bus to the start.

Mr. K.
I had to run there as I woke up so late.....

On the Up Run stay in Durban - along the North Beach.

On the Down run I stayed at the Ascot Bush Hotel..

I've always got the bus from Durban. It's an early start no matter what and it's not like I get much sleep on Comrades eve anyway, knowing what is to come the next day.

Ascot Bush hotel looks lovely. Seems a shame to go running the following day.

Thread revival.

Who’s (potentially) Running?

I’m in a bit of a situation as i haven’t got a qualifier. So in the unlikely event that comrades goes ahead I’m hoping they show clemency over qualifying.

I'm already qualified and entered but not optimistic that it will go ahead in June, more likely it will be later in the year in hot conditions.

I’m hoping for a cancellation, not postponement. I’m crap at running in the heat.

An update here:

comrades.com

The way I read it, they're trying to find a date in September.

No doubt you have heard, icenutter, that it's off for this year and we can transfer to 2021 or 2022. South Africans get a t-shirt.
