I really want to do this one day but it clashes with my favourite race so have not done so far. Plus I think I am avoiding the tarmac next year.

Binks, the date does move around a little bit from year to year so you might find it moves to a convenient weekend one year. It has been early as mid-May and late as mid-June. In fact one of the Japanese runners who did the LA-NY footrace with you this year (Koshita Makoto) was at Comrades this year...

Ahhh, Koshita. He took 10000 photos in the LANY race this year. Suprised he would make the comrades cut off if he took his camera with him.

Yeah, that will be him. He ran Comrades with a video camera! I guess that way he didn't have to stop for photographs! Hence He finished in just under 11 hours, well within the cut-off...

Looks like I'm going to be in Malawi the week before Comrades. Would be a shame not to take the opportunity... :-S

Will have to find a spa in Durban to install the wife in as recompense I suspect.
