Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Carrs Seasonal Selection crackers with Cathedral City Vintage Cheddar.

Not the good stuff ( I would get lynched) but a nice festive, savoury, late night treat

Tesco standard Brie, rosemary crackers, cranberry sauce. No port, unfortunately.

OK

At Christmas, we buy lots of cheese (and crackers) that we don't buy during the other 50 weeks of the year*

Most of it gets eaten after several bottles of wine. The good stuff** is saved until Christmas day, after the pudding

* except Easter, birthdays and date nights

** Mature Stilton, Cornish Brie, aged Red Leicester etc

Brie and xtra grown-up Cheddar in stock, to go with fruit loaf or cake, or, of course, with the odd mince pie.

Fields & fountain, moor & mountain
None as I can’t trust myself with cheese to not eat it all in one go.

My dad doesn’t like cheese so I expect he won’t have bought any when I visit him.
