I did Rotterdam in 2007 when it was 32 degrees and they shut the race down cos there were so many casualties. Running in the heat is *not* fun. I was 15 mins down on projected time then. Both Wiz and Sarah did really well.

I was there in 2007, once you got over the finish line and you went off you feet they took you to the med tent. All I could here was runner down, runner down. I just kept telling myself stay on you feet and find some water, luckily I found a shady tree and collasped there.

my non Fetch friend finished too - took him over an hour from the 35k check point. Was starting to get a bit worried. He finished in 4:48 - about 30 minutes more than he was hoping for.
