Minnie Mince Pie Mad
Hi I'm fairly heavy compared to the average fell runner, and I put down my recent knee injury to running in my ancient Roclites as they have absolutely no cushioning. I have just got some Speedcross 3 which are very cushioned, but as someone else has said they are very slippery on any sort of tarmac or stone. As most off-road races have at least a little bit tarmac, however uneven, or on a quiet road, I am not sure how good these are going to be. I am also a bit scared that a race might go over cobbles or a stone path. Our stone patio is treacherous, I can barely walk on it in them, so not sure yet whether I recommend them or not, but keeping my knee safe is my priority.

Are they the precision fit Lyns? How do they fit?

Lyns
Not sure how to find out if they're precision fit or standard? I bought them in the sale. Does anybody know if it says on them? I'm happy with the fit and I have quite wide feet but I haven't run in them yet. They seem quite flexible due to the way they lace - I can leave them quite loose or pull them tight. For the race I bought them for I might run in merino socks as it'll be freezing (literally) rather than my normal twin skins.
