Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I did part if it a few uears ago on another trail that overlaps: the Stevenson Trail GR70 from Le Puy en Velay to Ales. About 270 km and surprisingly remote in parts. It was July and very hot!

I did a virtual version of this during lockdown and would love to do the real thing. I did the virtual one to motivate me to keep training and got a lovely medal....

Via email I got virtual postcards from the organiser when I’d logged miles...

I could track myself on the virtual route..

I loved the look of Estella

And the look of the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela at the end...

Definitely something I would like to do!

It’s certainly a long way to do in one go, Ultracat. Particularly if you’re carrying all you need. I don’t know if there are companies that act as tour guides or carry luggage for you? I haven’t got as far as looking into that aspect of it.

Ness, you can make your own arrangements or you can book a self guided tour where they book accommodation and transfer your luggage from hotel to hotel or there are groups you can join with a local guide. Or you can arrange your own group with a guide.
