I can't stand The Office. I think I might be the only one though.

For me, The Office was a bit like the Dr Who Dalek episodes when I was little, I had to watch from behind the sofa, peeking between my fingers. Painful but compelling because of, and despite, Ricky Gervais.

even the sitcoms I liked were killed by a) death by repeat or b) too many series flogging a dead horse. Some of them had a moment of brilliance - Alan partridge superfan comes to mind - which makes me applaud from a distance but not willingly rewatch. Family guy (which doesn’t feature) is one of the few things that can still make me laugh despite endless repeats. Most of the cringe characters are just unpleasant to revisit. So I hope porridge gets through because it was gently charming underneath. And father ted.

The Office was shite.

I nearly voted Allosaurus because I enjoyed Dinosaur Park when I was over there.

Family guy is not British, which is why it is not here.

A weaker next round without 'Steptoe', for certain. Blackadder & Yes Minister going through on the national treasure ticket. My life would be no worse without either.

Finally, my faith in David Nobbs's 'Fall & Rise' is being justified.

Am I the only one reading Utah State as Utah Saints? I'm hoping their hymn is heavy industrial house.
