Seems to be having a longer stop than planned at Patterdale, already 30 mins rather than the planned 20. Maybe she's learnt from last night, and is sensibly trying to preempt the bad patch.

Still at Patterdale after over an hour. Looks like she has brought her Glenridding stop forward. I wonder how that will affect her thinking about stops in the last 2 days? At the moment her longest planned stop after leaving Glenridding is just an hour at Dodd Wood around 5am on Saturday. So if she leaves Patterdale after 2 hours and just has a quick pit stop at Glenridding (i.e. a complete swap between Patterdale and Glenridding) then she will have a maximum of 45 mins sleep planned in the last 50+ hours after 4 days of being on the move!

I think you're right. 2 hours later and she's still at Patterdale.

If she's there much longer I think it might be a sign that she's accepted she's not built enough rest into the plan and has changed tack to focus on the finish rather than the record.

if so, fair play to her. She knew she'd be slower on the fells and came up with a Plan A that gave her a fighting chance of the record, gave it her best, but knew when to go for Plan B.

Or maybe she's just left her tracker in the van and is well on her way ;-)

And she's on the move, almost bang on a 2 hr break. So as long as Glenridding is 20 mins she's still holding to an hour behind schedule.

Pretty much spot on Gus and given she is now neck and neck with Paul after taking an extra hour your estimate yesterday of an hour in front at Glenridding was on the money too.

So on her schedule she has 4 hours to play with over two days now but if she has to start taking longer breaks that is going come down pretty quickly.

Hi folks, Have been following the chat here avidly, and Sabrina (and Paul's) tracker/splits. Thanks for the extra depth of navigatonal lines, etc. - it's been appreicated! Please keep talking.

I'm simply stunned at the whole thing. Loving poring over the maps and learning new bits and reminisicing over other days out, amazed at the phenomenal level of ability of Sabrina (and others), and knowing that I'd need considerably longer to stroll over these lovely fells.
