NE having supported leg 4 of a Joss that went through Styhead about 5 minutes up on Nicky and then took 20 mins out of the standard sub 12 schedule but was around 25 minutes slower than her over the leg I am highly impressed by those splits. I know how hard we worked on that section particularly towards the end (with good results) but Nicky would have just left us for dead. A superb performance. PS i'd be grateful if you don't try emulating her in May |

So DT, did you DNF due to the wrong type of underwear and stopping to rescue a wasp that looked to be in distress? Didn't see it on And yes, awesome run by Nicky (again!) |

A guy is attempting the BGR and currently at Wasdale (clockwise), think he has nine and a half hours to get back to Moot Hall, should be successful?

So, how many legs or part legs of the BGR is it possible to walk using public transport to get back to where you started from ? Keswick to Threkeld is on my list of possible nice days out - any others? |

eL Bee! and once I did Leg 2 anticlockwise by getting the bus from Keswick to Dunmail Raise and finishing along the railway path after coming off Clough Head.

It was, though after the first three ups and two downs it's a pleasant high level traverse till Clough Head, as I recall.
