3 divisions at Leamington for XC does not work like it did at Senneleys lots bottlenecks and single file today as the course is narrow in many places.

Well done to anyone that did the half and still managed to do this race.

Did the birmingham half and ran at leamington? How about abingdon marathon, then birmingham half, then leamington? ;-)

Hard race today, especially going over the beacon for the third time! Anyone who was complaining about the hills at birmingham will have found out what a real one looks like! (3 times over!)

lol, indeed Slog (re hills) and you are a nutter for running all three!!! That wasn't even a hill for running really, went too hard the first time round and spent the next half a lap recovering/dying. Did manage a sprint finish, I'm a track runner after all ;-)

We're going to have to do it all again at the Midlands Champs in Jan, but at least this time we know what to expect.

Hi RFR, yes, did see you briefly as i was warming up. I had an ok run, but my legs were suffering from the efforts of the previous two weeks much more than i'd expected, especially after going over the beacon then second time. So only managed 47:04 despite a first mile at low 6's and feeling really comfortable. Just had nothing left in the legs.... :-(

Not suprised there was nothing left, great time at abingdon and not exactly crawling in brum, I'm amazed you got round in one piece today, let alone that quickly! Just sorry I couldn't get there to support!
