So are we. And then driving up to Preston faterwards to do it all again on Sunday. Going to cost a fortune in fuel. Anyone else doubling up?
And with that forecast, it's definitely going to be fell shoes!
(for whoever asked: fell shoes are like trail shoes but with far more aggressive studs/grip, and typically lighter weight and less cushioning. They're designed for slippy mud and wet rock)

Does anyone need a train ticket from Eastbourne to london (off peak, valid for a month fromfriday)? My return journey plans have been tweaked and I now have the return portion of my ticket going spare.

Ultra Kanga Kazzaaaaah!!
They're Walsh Extremes and are really tight. I was told that was how they were supposed to be but I don't like tight shoes
T, you know I don't do XC and there's no way I'm changing that!!!

Flanker - I'm planning to run Preston too... driving to and from Beachy but taking the train from London as I don't fancy a long drive afterwards (which means I have to get up early on Sunday to collect my number...)

Probably sensible! We're driving the 300-odd miles north after beachy and crashing nearby. Hoping to have someone pick up the numbers for us...
Will see you there, probably near the back at the start and then working through the field (at least that's the plan!)
