I'm quite enjoying this, having rejected several virtual race opportunities. Obviously it would be better to actually be there, but it's lifted my running out of the doldrums. Remembering the bits of the route (even if they are wrong ) is more fun than I thought it would be.

Great pics mrs s. Had a brilliant 13 miles with Andy around Lochore, Bennarty and Blairadam. So our team is around 39 - about Beinglas farm? But back tracking to Inversnaid as that's end of first leg.
I'll post the pics later. Well done all #virtualWHWrace rs. G

Entered as a family to make the kids feel included in a running event, then oldest boy child broke his ankle last week, so fear some of our miles will include hobbling on crutches! Husband and I have done 24m between us so far. Slightly regret not entering the solo event!!

Aw Yumee what a shame for your son. That's really nice to do it as a family though.
Thanks _andy, your run sounds fab, I look forward to seeing photos.

Agreed - enjoying the photos - please keep them coming
Added another 11.5 miles this morning so now just beyond 20 - within striking distance of the first checkpoint tomorrow with a decent long run. Planning to get onto some of the local higher ground if the weather is fit.
