It's not terrible, Greg, but it's not A New Hope either. I can enjoy it, and it certainly has some real highlights (The Pod Race, the Duel of the Fates), but then again Jar Jar Binks.

Ep 1 definitely better than I remember. Disappointingly only me and two others in Everyman Screen 2. There was a trailer *after* the film for The Acolyte.

There was a new Acolyte trailer out on Saturday but I was mistaken in that it's not the footage you get to see if you see Ep1 at the cinema. They're keeping that special for paying customers. Has anyone made it through the Tales of the Empire shorts that were released on Saturday? I really enjoyed them (I just love SW content. You've surely realised that by now!) but I don't think they were quite as strong as the Tales of the Jedi shorts they put out last year. |

I’ve watched the shorts. It was good to have an outcome of what might have happened to Barriss. Any idea who the other female inquisitor person was, the one who features most in the final episode? Was she supposed to link somewhere else? The Morgan backstory was something that I didn’t really need tbh but it was fun to see Grevious again!! |
