Both great themes tbh. The brilliant thing about the Mandalorian theme is that it is so quintessentially Star Wars as well as being absolutely distinct within the Star Wars musical canon.

Just off S3 Episode 1.
Good things:
Great opening
Good space battle
Not so good things:
I thought the dialogue was rather stilted and “the quest” seems rather tired in concept.
The little alien mechanics reminded me of Michael Bentine’s Potties. Not a good thing.
Hope it’s going to pick up a bit.

My main take away was that the crocodile monster at the beginning was a bit Ray Harryhausen, but other than that I thought it was good.

The character in the sequels was called Babu Frick I think, LindsD. THe little guys here are the same species but I'm sure some of the dialogue included "Babu" so maybe eventhe same character?
I really enjoyed Ep1. Thought they did a reasonable job of getting people up to speed if they'd missed out on Book of Boba Fett.
I mean, mostly table setting but we got an action scene right out of the gate, a quest being set, a gun fight, a space battle and an ominous ending. Can't ask for much more in a series opener.
Anyone else kept up with the Bad Batch episode. If any episode of this series has felt more tied to the wider story they're trying to tell (with links to Mando and the sequels implied) I don't know where.
