Just successfully threaded a needle with varifocal contacts in - there was not a chance of that a month ago so my eyes have adjusted a bit

GWS to Daisy's knee.

Lovely pics of deer, Um (several pages back, but I've only just caught up)
Sombrero, it will be interesting to see how your alphabet parkrun goes. Someone I met after a race told me he was doing one of those, and would have to go to Poland when he got to Z.

Frost and sunshine today. 3.37 miles run, dreadfully slowly but better run than not.

I used to have lenses but never got on with varifocal lenses, though I love my varifocal glasses.

I used to have the lash lift (LVL?) and loved them as I hate mascara but my lashes were thinning and fading, but they started to irritate my eyes so I’m just having lashes tinted now. I’d love a full set of nails but my nails are knackered so I get a gel coating on the worst to hold them together. The joys of getting old!

I now get BIAB on my nails before the gel polish. They have made my nails so much stronger. I do hope it’s the one luxury I can afford when I’m no longer working. I have all the gear to do my own but I like the shape she gives them.

Columba we have Jersey booked for June to tick off the J. A K is planned for 2 week's time.

Then it'll just be U, V and Z. There's a Z in Holland near Amsterdam so we are planning a weekend there to tick it off. There's a V in London that we may do on a weekend away.

In other news I didn't run today as I had two pints of beer last night and it gave me hideous IBS last night. Sometimes I'm fine, other times it's horrible. Bah.
