Enjoy Dipps. Took the e-bikes for their first service this morning - bribed Mr Moo with a cooked breakfast. Nice 26 miles round trip done ✔️ |

Nice to see you the right side of the border Serendippily As I missed your message about Hampshire last week until it was too late, if you have time for a Fetchie meet-up in Wales give me a shout (I am in Llanelli these days, so just down the coast from you.) |

No rain yet, got some shelves stained and varnished, and hoovered the pool. Productive morning so going to take a chance on the riverside car park. I fancy paddle boarding and turtle wants a swim (yes, I've cleaned the pool but she wants to swim in the river 🤣)

Which river is it, TM? Apparently a lot of UK rivers are currently badly contaminated. Untreated sewage and other stuff.

We go to the Avon just north of Stratford. Water is very clear there with loads of fish. Its been a traditional swimming spot for generations, and now usually has paddleboarders and kayakers here and there as well as swimmers. We use to swim at Warwick, but the water's filthy there by comparison. Usual rules apply though: Don't put your face in and don't swallow any, just in case 😊. I stayed dry today, Turtle swam alongside the paddleboard for a bit, then lounged on the board. Good 3hrs on the river today.

Sounds a lovely day TM. I've just ordered my 25 volunteer parkrun t-shirt. i won't be ordering a 100 one in a few weeks as I don't like black t-shirts, I really like my red 50 one and will continue wearing that for parkrunning. |

My last week's parkrun was my 80th, and I am hoping I'll get to 100 in the fullness of time. Never mind the colour, the number has boasting value.

I had a rather good 7.3 mile run. Didn’t fancy it at all and felt terrible, but only for half a mile.
