Happy Valentines day you lovely lot *love*

A nice 10K on the canal path, 3* instead of -something, still cold but so much nicer than it's been.

Got some Lego for Valentines day (I got GF flowers and made a card) so I'm going to build that soon.

Badger & Bint - sounds like a comedy duo, but seriously well done to both of you for doing the ultra. That is amazing. :-)

Welcome Welshpoppy, I'm not sure I've ever eaten Welsh cakes before. :)

Walk done. It rained most of the way round but gloves and scarf came off halfway and I managed to keep hold of my umbrella. I was boiled by the time I got home. This means that the mud is back.

Hi all, just passing through. Sorry been v busy. Hope all are well. Good running going on.
Managing to get out 2-3 times a week, but lots of indoor cycling too.

Looking forward to spring next weekend :-)

I did indeed. My aim was 5 miles at 11mm pace doing 3:30/0:30 and for once I got it spot on 👍.

Hi all. I chickened out of anything significant today when it started lashing it down with freezing rain, so went out for just a 5km. Of course as I started it stopped raining, leaving me inappropriately dressed (short sleeve tshirt and running jacket - I only ever wear 2 layers if it's pouring, and overheat easily) and not on a route that could easily be extended. Plus I'd told family I'd only be out for half an hour.

Will do another little run tomorrow (am on shift but I've taken 4hrs leave so finish at 3) to make up for it 😊.
Yesterday was gorgeous. Ice and snow still around and turtle "ice skating" across the hard-frozen flooded fields. Given today's weather, so glad we made the most of yesterday 😊
