Carp, I have room for about 7 downstairs, depending on how much you like each other. It would be really nice to have a fetch-a-thon at my place. Something to look forward to as I am feeling pretty low just now. [Guilt trip... guilt trip...]

Big room: 2 twin beds (can be shoved together for a double)
Little room: 1 single bed
TV room: double sofa-bed
plus 2 single mattresses that can go wherever. There is a little office that can take one of them.

This is the year we stop talking about it and start doing it (well me, anyway, ds2 would love to go back to Iceland and I’ve never been!)

Why not? (Apart from work, money, spouses, children... )

Easyjet from London and Edinburgh
Icelandair from Glasgow and London (and maybe Manchester)
British from Gatwick

If all goes to plan, this will be the first of my runs to raise money for 24 hour defibrilators in memory of my dad so it would be nice to have a support crew. I doubt OH or kids will be arsed coming.

I’m really keen too it’s the end of half term for us it is just a tiny bit disappointing to come when neither mrS nor I can run. I’m still wondering about it though XX

um
Just saying, if you're considering BA, (for info) that BA normally have a sale from Xmas to early Jan - so you may want to look then. And consider (look at or ask price for ) booking a package with car and/or hotel (if only for one night or even unused*), because that can often be cheaper.

*When it has been cheaper, BA staff have advised 'better to check in and walk out' just to comply with conditions of the ticket/package rather than just ignore.

I am just asking mrS if he wants to get me airline vouchers for Xmas :-) he doesn’t want to commit till he’s had his next run of tests which is fair enough

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.
