Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Not very enticing out there. Am going to do a little work first and I think try a run and a swim later. MrS sounds awful and I’m a bit sniffly so slightly anxious about bringing on cold vs it’s probably coming on already and this may be the last day I feel well enough

Morning :-)

Momentary gap in workload before my next project arrives so hope to make the most of it today - bike, yoga and weights planned, might also chuck a swim in there if there's time.

Have a good Monday all!

Commiserations to all those suffering. From lurgies, overdoses of caffeine/antihistamine or whatever.

Briskish walk clockwise around the Groe (Groe parkrun takes place anticlockwise). Encountered two runners; and watched with interest as three canoeists launched their canoes into the full and fast-flowing Wye, and paddled off moving with speed under the bridge, bumpily across some white water, and rapidly away into the distance.

Morning, non-run day today for me but I have a PT session this evening. I've also realised that scoffing leftover Christmas chocs before bed is probably why I haven't been sleeping very well. No more post-dinner snacking for me :-(

I can’t eat chocolate after midday or it keeps me awake!
Little run to pottery hut my Achilles only likes soft ground right now so I went walking with my friend instead of running. Probably sensible as my allergies are at their peak with this windy weather. Bleurgh

hahahahaha, top advice, Stander.
I thought we were on the menopause thread and wondered what Stander was doing over here. Then again, 700 miles club probably IS most of the menopause thread and 80% of the menopause chat ;)

Maybe I should stick to senior moments.

Sorry, lads and youngsters.

Be not afraid. Getting older actually kinda rocks.

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
