Morning all! Arghh re the cello and tablet!

I'm hoping the weather will be good enough for me to bike over to see my mum and sit in the garden with her. She's finding it hard to understand why I can't come up to her room or residents lounge :-(

Morning all
September feels too far away to comment on Pilgrim it was a lovely race
C9 has had real issues breathing at night last few days. She could’ve picked up CV19 from mrS although it’s unlikely. She has to have a test in any case, which I am pretty dubious we will do properly and I have to isolate. So back to night walks for me I guess

Are you going to a self-testing centre, like we did?

No we get a test through the post as there is no Centre near McG. I can’t see we will get a good sample she will resent us trying to choke her or tickle her eyeballs from the inside

The self-test at the Gatwick centre (which I presume is similar) has a stick your swab-stick in your mouth first to swab the tonsils but when you've done that you stick the same swab up a nostril. They recommended coughing into a tissue first as well to bring all that lovely mucus to the fore. So there is a good chance of getting some good stuff on your swab...

About This Thread

Welcome to the 700 miles in 2020 thread, everybody welcome. The thread motto is:
'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

At normal times: All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles. Extra points for bins :-) And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

Join in the chat on the friendliest thread around - all things discussed, sometimes even running.
