Nice one Carp.
New to me podiatrist was nice today and did a good job of sorting out the hard skin and corns on my feet today, they feel lovely now.

Could have gone swimmming (Over 60s session on Monday afternoons) but have been feeling totally unenthusiastic about swimming recently (a pity, as I'm sure it's Good For Me) so didn't. Instead, went for a run after the tree surgeon and his mate had gone - was already dark - enjoyed it though my time was distinctly unimpressive.

Running is also Good For You, even at unimpressive paces

Well done on the run Columba! Time is immaterial, what matters is that you got out. I know what you mean about swimming - I could have gone today but the bike seemed a lot less faff. What I *should* have done, is cycle to the pool and back. Meh

(Mine today varied wildly but some mile splits started with 14. However, it was very very Good For Me in all sorts of ways).

My five miler yesterday had a 14 something and a 13 something mile. I think you can appreciate scenery better at a slower pace, you miss it if you go too fast! That's me, never knowingly too fast.

All mine were 14s. Usually I manage at least some 13, and 12s have been known, but not often nowadays.
Daisy, I looked with interest at that parkrun reviews thread, but can't see how to add a review (there are two in Wales that I have done and could review - no-one's reviewed them yet).
