Happy birthday, holidays and congrats as appropriate.
Even more sick today. Running out for the next few days because I will cough too much but I was able to bike a windy route to work.
Back a few pages but I need to take this up as I am still bitter. My school didn't have academic prizes - some kind of egalitarian bollox, everyone is good at something, etc. Oh, prizes for sports day, that was fine. But being top in chemistry, music, accounts, economics AND overall counted for nothing. The neighbouring school had a dux prize and board and everything. I should've switched school.

I don't remember any of my schools giving prizes, perhaps they kept them secret, just for the recipients.
I have done a lovely run this morning, what a dog's bumhole of a day.
I bumped into one of the coaches from running club. I told her all my gripes and she said there's a questionnaire coming out soon to find out why the numbers seem to be dropping and people not showing up to sessions.

we used to have prize giving every year - I won the most outstanding pupil of the year one year and think my prize was a book token (cant really remember as on prize giving evening I was at a Depeche Mode concert - priorities)
