I got back quite late from the Isle of Wight last night after having to drive in the fog to another ferry then home from Portsmouth instead of Lymington.

No more running for me this year due to finally being lurgified. It affected my break with stopping me from running and gym-ing and really curtailed my singing as I had no voice for over 2 days. I don't think it's right today, but I haven't tried speaking to anyone yet.

That fog was extraordinarily dense, angelrose, we walked home through it at dusk along seafront last night. Sorry lurgies finally found you, get well sooner than soon.
Had a great time at parkrun, but why am I ten times hungrier than if I'd run it? :-0

Morning gunks! Sorry about the lurgy, AR *passes lozenges*
Sad to miss the Gutbuster, but we have complicated guest logistics for a couple of days so I would have felt bad about buggering off for half a day and leaving them. I need those 7 miles today though! Might do 4 now and 3 later while Mr fleecy is cooking up a storm in the kitchen.

And that's what I will do while Nr fleecy takes our friend to the pub. Actually, I could go too and run back from there, along the river. Will get my kit on anyway :)

About This Thread

Maintained by iRan
Welcome to the 700 miles in 2016 thread, everybody welcome :-)

The thread motto is:

'700 miles is neither necessary nor sufficient'

All you have to do is run about 1.91 miles per day or 13.46 miles per week or 58.33 miles per month and take a picture when you get to 700 miles of either you or the spot you reached the target or both if you want to. And if you go under or over 700 miles nobody will mind.

bunting and 700er medals are often spotted around here.

Happy running :-)
