Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Oh Chrisity. There is only one correct order.

Yes or Genesis
Genesis or Yes
Pink Floyd

Everyone else. Possibly The Enid on a good day. Possibly early Marillion.

NOTE (and I think I may have common ground with Glenn here). I have never, ever claimed either Genesis or Yes were anything other than my favourite group.

The were not, aren't, and never will be The Greatest Rock And Roll Band In The World.

That was, is, and always will be The Rolling Stones. Anyone that tells you otherwise is a fool.

At least you haven’t mentioned TSB.

I’m very partial to (early) Marillion.

I find myself in total agreement with Greppers regarding the Rolling Stones while confessing that I have more music by Yes in my collection spread across all recorded medium.

^^ :-o :-o

My mate was a bit interested in the Genesis thing until he found out that tickets for The Hydro are mainly £180 each. Cheap seats at the back are £81.

Liked a bit of The Enid. And, indeed, Eloy (assuming the German 80s prog-metallists were meant). I think I have an LP by each.
