Depending on my finances i may head north over the border to do one of the scottish ultras later on in the year. Or then again i may head up for loch ness marathon instead. Either way i shall be switching to a target of 1500 miles from my usual 1000 and will reset the mileage target once the last list of the 1000 in 2011 thread has been compiled.

kstuart - I'd recommend the Highland Fling in April, & Cateran Trail in May. Done Loch Ness mara too and it's a fine race. D33 is a very cheap race and exceptionally friendly :-). Spare room may be available in Stonehaven if you are really hard up
I can't wait for D33, it's a great race, but also because quite a few of my friends are doing it as their first ultra and it is always lovely to see folk turning to the dark side ;-). Great party in Stonehaven afterwards
