LindsD - diet ginger beer (Tesco's is nice)
decaf coffee
peppermint tea
elderflower (fizzy and still)
virgin mojito (mint, soda, sugar, or also with lemonade)
pineapple and soda
I like the 0% beer but it's not for everyone. Bavaria Wheatbeer 0% is nice.
Badoit fizzy water. San Pellegrino is also nice.

HappyG - I got good suggestion from the thread for a request for non-sweet treats:
Virgin Mary - tomato juice, tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, sprig of celery, yum!
sparkling water with lemon or lime juice - really refreshing
Seedlip - "the world's first distilled non-alcoholic spirit". Very grown up. £25 for 70ml tho!
0% beers - Becks Blue, Heineken 0%, Erdinger Alkofrei, Brewdog Nanny State, Budweiser Prohibition, Adnams Ghost Ship (a lovely ale flavour), Warsteiner zero, St Peter's Without (a proper "ale" taste)
Nix n Kix Cucumber Mint with Cayenne Pepper Link (roll over me to see where I go)
Belvoir Juniper and Tonic ( Link (roll over me to see where I go) )
From the thread winter 2019 warm, winter, festive
Robinson's Apple and Cinnamon
Rochester Mulled Berry Punch from Holland and Barrett Link (roll over me to see where I go)

- Sainsbury now do a low alcohol sparkly wine, that tastes dry, fizzy and fantastic - Sainsbury's aromatised Low Alcohol Chardonnay Sparkling Wine, Taste the Difference.
- In pubs, mixing coke zero and ginger beer in a pint glass.
- Blackcurrant and soda water.
- Brewdog Raspberry Sour .5% Beer. Really refreshing and different from the becks blues of this world!

Brewdog Raspberry Blitz
Finally found some (in my in-laws local Tesco). It’s like fizzy very dilute herbal tea. Not a lot of smell or flavour. Not sweet (or sour). ‘Adult pop’ might be the best way to describe it but sadly all a little bit underwhelming. I think I had it too cold. As the glass warmed up the flavour started coming out. A definite option for a non-sugary cold drink

- Not news to most of you but the low / no alcohol versions of beers have improved taste-wise by orders of magnitude recently. My current favourite NA/LA lager is *Lucky Saint*, which can even be found on tap in some places (as can *Free Damm*, from the brewery behind Estella Damm). And *Guinness 0.0* is almost indistinguishable from the alcoholic version. If you miss Prosecco then *Noughty* from Thompson & Scott is pretty good, albeit expensive.
- On the more exotic alt-drink market I particularly enjoy the ones from Three Spirit. I find *Nightcap* near miraculous in its ability to promote both sleep and some weird dreams; and their two other drinks make for more 'interesting' cocktails than a squash or tonic mix alone. These do end up about £2 a shot/drink though.
- On the substitute spirits front - I personally didn't enjoy the various ones I've tried from Lyre's. Both Gordons and Tanqueray now do a 0% gin which (for me) has the same problem as Seedlip in that you might as well just pay for fancier tonic water.
