I have been running for nearly 5 years, it all started when my Husband ran FLM05, I quickly realised that if I didn't join in in this crazy way to have fun I would never do it.
I used to be a smoker too and that has now gone forever I am really pleased to say, I have not smoked for over three years!!
Most of my family run and that includes my Husbands family too, there are so many of us that do that we decided to create a running club and called it "Spitfire Running Club" we decided on the name of the club as our local country park was once an Airfield which served in WWI & II and the Spitfires were based there.
I have run several race distances ranging from 10k's to full marathon's.
