I started running in 2001 to do the Great North Run after plodding for a while I got sucked into doing more local events, then more cycling, swapping the mtb for a roadie and finally adding some swimming (which I detest) to add up to triathlon. Again I started small with a few sprints and now have a cople of olympic distance races under my belt. Love the cycling and running but the swimming just frustrates me as whatever I do I never get any quicker...still one day it might just click.
