The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. I started running in October 2006 when I began to get worried that my kids might be able to outrun me. I still feel like a beginner, even now. I run to get and keep fit and with my friends for a gossip on the move. I'm better at distance than speed. I'm better at sitting down with a nice cup of tea than distance, but that doesn't help shrink my backside.
